Relationship Therapy
There can be many challenges that arise as part of a partnership and couples may seek help to explore issues and conflicts and find ways of moving forward. I provide a private and respectful safe space for couples and people in relationships, to explore each other’s issues and also have a supportive space to voice their own thoughts and difficulties and feel heard.
How I Work
Introductory Session
The introductory session is 90 minutes and aims to begin identify both you and your partner’s initial issues and difficulties. The assessment helps to gather some information about your backgrounds and current circumstances, lifestyle and health. Within the first session you will have the opportunity to discuss reasons for seeking therapy and towards the end of the session we will discuss where you would like to go from there and agree the frequency of ongoing sessions and potential length of the work together.
Therapy Sessions
I work in a non-directive, empathic and non-judgmental way. Therapy can evoke may feelings and can feel challenging at times and I aim to be supportive through this process. The number of sessions can vary and we will discuss this as part of the first introductory session. Sessions can over a several weeks or can take place over a longer term according to your needs and requirements. Most clients see me on a weekly basis for an hour. The frequency and length of sessions can be changed and appointments can be flexible. For example, to help work towards an ending or due to annual leave, holiday or work commitments.
Fees
For relationship therapy the fee is £75 per 60 minute session. The first introductory session is £95 for 90 minutes.
